I collect a lot of beautiful, old fabric and wallpaper samples I pick up from antique fairs I love to amble around. The samples are often well worn, faded or creased but this is what I like about them, they have a lovely delicate, well travelled quality to them.
I’ve been working on a new floral repeat for my postcard collection and wanted to incorporate this idea into the design. My colour pallette uses lovely chalky pinks and blush pinks with steel greys and I’ve added a subtle, destressed finish to create a lovely aged, vintage feel.
These postcards will be perfect for those of you planning a vintage, garden tea party inspired wedding or those who just love florals!

I know I’ve posted a photo of Victoria and Pierce’s save the dates recently but I wanted to just share a couple more to show the lovely impressions of a letterpress print.
Silhouettes are traditional seen in black but Victoria wanted a colour to match her bridesmaid dresses so we mixed up this pretty blue ink and I think it adds a lovely modern twist to the design.
I’m currently working on Victoria and Pierce’s invitations so do check back soon for a peek at the designs!

Since I designed Katie and Tom’s ticket inspired stationery last year I have received lots of lovely compliments and requests to design tickets for other lovely couples. As well as personalising the original design shown on my bespoke page, I have been busy working on some new designs, and here is a peek at what I’ve been working on…
It’s the little details that are important to me so I have included punched out, date details to give them a real ticket feel.
They can be used for save the dates, day or evening invitations and can be letterpress or digitally printed. If you’re looking for something quirky and a bit different or if your wedding has a travel theme these are perfect.
I have also found them to be a great hit with grooms too!
All my ticket designs will soon be included on my website but do contacted me for any further info and prices in the meantime at info@emma-jo.co.uk!
